Transportation
There are three airports that can be used to reach SSU: Santa Rosa (STS), San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK).

Santa Rosa’s Charles Schulz airport has service through American Airlines from Phoenix, and also by Horizon/Alaska Airlines from LAX, San Diego (SAN), Portland (PDX), Seattle (SEA), and Orange County (SNA). United also has flights from SFO to STS, but these flights are usually expensive.

STS is about 17 miles from SSU/Rohnert Park, and it also has a SMART train stop  that goes to the Cotati station, which is about 1 mile from the SSU campus.

Oakland airport is located about 1.25 hours drive from Rohnert Park (not including traffic). Oakland is also an international airport but has fewer flights than SFO. It is also served by the Sonoma County Airport Express shuttle bus service to the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park.
